These Boots Were Made For Walking

Boots, boots, boots!! You know how they say diamonds are a girl’s best friend? Well boots are mine! I wear boots 24/7. Well not 24/7 obviously; you know what I mean. My collection of boots has slowly expanded over the years and continues to grow (I’m a boots hoarder; so sue me!). Continue reading

“If you want to live a memorable life, you have to be the kind of person who remembers to remember” – Joshua Foer

Today, I thought I’d take a trip down memory lane. If someone asked me how do you make amazing memories? I would say do the things you’ve always wanted to do, don’t look back and have no regrets so that you’ll always have something fun to look back on. I remember when my brother, sister and I invented this game where we would place a duvet at the top of the stairs, sit on it, fold the bottom of the duvet over our legs and wiggle about until we were sliding down the stairs. We would do it over and over just to feel the rush again. Every time I think about when I was young I can’t help but laugh at the crazy games we made up. I don’t think anyone has done some of the crazy things I did as a child. For example, my siblings and I used to make an indoor swing using a skipping rope and a large teddy. We used to tie the skipping rope around the bear and then tie the other end to the bannister of the stairs. Surprisingly, it worked most of the time and 70% of the time no one was hurt. My mum used to say that if there was silence in the house then we were up to no good. As you can imagine, my parents tried to keep our fizzy drink intake low or they would suffer the consequences of our hyperactivity.

Taking The Plunge

Today, I thought I’d tell you a bit about myself and how Trust Sinach came to be. If you don’t already know, my name is Ihe (pronounced e-hay). My Leicester friends call me Spinachi (imagine someone saying it in a Jamaican accent and you’ve got it!) and my London friends call me Sinach or Sports. I don’t know why, but no matter where I go people automatically think EA Sports (just like the advert); I’m guessing it will stick with me forever! Continue reading

From A-Z: Wardrobe Essentials

I think everyone has something in their closet that they can’t live without and I’m going to share some of mine. At the top of my list is my leather jacket. To be honest, I can’t remember what I used to wear before I got my leather jacket. My leather jacket goes with basically everything in my wardrobe. I wear it with military boots and jeans to get an edgy look or I team it up with a bodycon midi dress and heels for a night out. I remember the days when I used to hate long dresses and skirts because I thought they covered too much, I must have been smoking yam. Less is definitely more in my opinion.
