Appreciation Tuesday| Chunky Heeled Boots

Hey everyone!! I have decided to start a series called Appreciation Tuesday where I will share my love of different styles, fashion trends and anything that tickles my fancy. I know it’s technically not Tuesday ( I wrote this post a bit late) but I didn’t want to wait until next week to do it. Today’s post celebrates chunky heeled boots. In my opinion, they are the best type of boots you can get for everyday use and you can use them for nights out when you feel like giving your feet a rest from those killer heels.  You don’t always have to be in pain to be fashionable! My favourite pair are the black platform boots from ASOS which pair are your favourites?

Capturing Memorable Moments

I finally have a camera!!! Time to take pictures, pictures and more pictures! If you have not noticed I am really excited. I decided to get the Fujifillm Fine Pix S6800 bridge camera because it’s a good camera for photography beginners and it was on offer so I thought why not? Ahh, I feel like my blogging tools are officially complete and I can’t wait to experiment with this camera.  It is going to follow me everywhere…well, almost everywhere. If you have any tips for photography beginners I would love for you to share them with me.

OOTD|Back To Basics

My hair is officially beyond styling. There is only so much you can do to  your edges before they start to look like a toilet brush. Hopefully, my mum will be able to relax my hair tomorrow and I can stop looking like a  tramp. The next hairstyle I am planning to do is Marley braids. I have seen a couple pictures of them and  they look awesome. I think the success of Marley braids depends on how you decide to style them for example, you can mix two colours together or make the braids really thick. Because I am so organised I have the hair already. I will do a post solely on my Marley braids and how I achieved them soon. Anyway, I decided to keep today’s outfit really simple and livened it up a bit with a waterfall jacket and high leg boots.

Stay Reckless | The Minimalist

Guess who’s back!? If feels like a decade since my last post. I have been so busy trying to sort out my life but I’m back now and ready to rummmbleeee (imagine a referee for a wrestling match saying that)!I’m sure you have noticed I have tweaked a couple things on my blog; just a smidge. Initially, when I made my blog I was more focused on the content rather than the visual aspect of it. I needed my blog to scream me so I revamped it and I must say I am pretty darn proud of myself *leans back in chair and drinks hot chocolate* (coffee is nasty) .
Recently, I discovered this site called Polyvore and now I am completely addicted to it. I can put outfits together without having to buy them! It is helping me to curb my shopaholic ways! Try stripping down your look to the basics and one statement piece that stands out from the crowd. I absolutely love the block waterfall jacket from River Island. it just looks so warm and comfy; perfect for layering in winter or just throw it over your outfit to give it that little something something!
