Hey everyone!! It has been a really long time since I posted on this blog. As a blogger you are always learning new things and coming up with new ideas. I wanted to make so many changes to this blog that I decided to start over with a new blog! I have made a new blog now called Sinachi. It has the same content as Trust Sinach but with a few changes. If you want to keep up with my blog post you can follow my new blog Sinachi.
Hey everyone!! I hope you are all well. It’s almost the end of the week and I must say it has been very tiring. I would just like to say that this purple scarf is everything!! It’s so versatile it’s ridiculous! Since it is quite large I can transform it into a cosy shawl when the weather is a bit chilly. Continue reading →
Hey everyone!! I hope you are all well. It has been a while since I last posted. As you all know I’m a last minute person so getting prepared for uni was really hectic. I literally got everything 2 days before I went back. Freshers week is over and I’m ready to see what second year holds for me. I’m thinking about joining a couple of societies this year so I can meet new people. It’s a great way to meet new people and make new friends. I should have done it last year but I was too preoccupied with assignments (Pharmacy is not a joke).
Hey everyone!! I have finally done my marley braids and the results are shown below. This is the first time I have ever done my braids myself so it took me quite a long time to do (approximately 12 hours). It took me a while to figure out how to attach the extension securely (I’m a perfectionist) but once I figured it out it didn’t take me long to learn how to twist the hair. I used 5 packs of “Soft ‘N’ Silky Afro Natural Synthetic Afro Twist Braid” hair. Each pack of hair cost £2.99 and they can easily be purchased from a local hair shop.
Hey everyone!! I have decided to start a series called Appreciation Tuesday where I will share my love of different styles, fashion trends and anything that tickles my fancy. I know it’s technically not Tuesday ( I wrote this post a bit late) but I didn’t want to wait until next week to do it. Today’s post celebrates chunky heeled boots. In my opinion, they are the best type of boots you can get for everyday use and you can use them for nights out when you feel like giving your feet a rest from those killer heels. You don’t always have to be in pain to be fashionable! My favourite pair are the black platform boots from ASOS which pair are your favourites?
My hair is officially beyond styling. There is only so much you can do to your edges before they start to look like a toilet brush. Hopefully, my mum will be able to relax my hair tomorrow and I can stop looking like a tramp. The next hairstyle I am planning to do is Marley braids. I have seen a couple pictures of them and they look awesome. I think the success of Marley braids depends on how you decide to style them for example, you can mix two colours together or make the braids really thick. Because I am so organised I have the hair already. I will do a post solely on my Marley braids and how I achieved them soon. Anyway, I decided to keep today’s outfit really simple and livened it up a bit with a waterfall jacket and high leg boots.
This is the first time I have ever done my hair by myself. I feel so proud of myself because now if someone asks who did your hair I can say I did it myself! It’s a new achievement to add to the list. It took me approximately 6 hours to do it in total but to be fair, I spent 4 hours sewing tracks together because I wanted to make the tracks thicker. The rest of the time was spent plaiting my hair while watching Dallas. I have watched one episode and now I’m hooked. I’m going to have a Dallas marathon tomorrow; can’t wait!!
Boots, boots, boots!! You know how they say diamonds are a girl’s best friend? Well boots are mine! I wear boots 24/7. Well not 24/7 obviously; you know what I mean. My collection of boots has slowly expanded over the years and continues to grow (I’m a boots hoarder; so sue me!). Continue reading →
Today, I thought I’d tell you a bit about myself and how Trust Sinach came to be. If you don’t already know, my name is Ihe (pronounced e-hay). My Leicester friends call me Spinachi (imagine someone saying it in a Jamaican accent and you’ve got it!) and my London friends call me Sinach or Sports. I don’t know why, but no matter where I go people automatically think EA Sports (just like the advert); I’m guessing it will stick with me forever! Continue reading →
